Maul Publisher is an industrial strength desktop publisher capable of creating virtually all of the printing seen on everyday household items.You can use it to easily lay out newspapers, cards, books, labels, stamps, posters, charts, forms, and even designs like building plans or furniture arrangements.

Version V3.05 is now available (and so is a new fixpack):-

Improved load and scan options for object wizard.
New Global option - save startup size and position.
Twain enabled tables handler.
Installer clears readonly attributes from archives.
Fixed 12hr (am/pm) clock.
Added ability to justify text on a path.
Changed the behaviour of locked bitmaps to make them useable as dropshadows.
New rectangle scale method in frame handler allows orthogonal scaling.
Improved orthogonal frame scaling, and made it the default.
Right click on the dropshadow text button to get the dropshadow dialog.
New figure shading fill mode.
Right click on rounded rect button to edit selected rounded rectangle corners.
New 3d effect border mode.
Changed object painting order to better accomodate 3d effect borders.
Improvements to the way codepages are handled fixes many spellcheck problems.

To install Maul:-
Download maulebin305.zip, and either maulelen305.zip or maulelde305.zip or both, depending on the language(s) you want.

Unzip all the files in the .maulinstall directory where maul was installed and run the installer. You need to install the binary executive and library files, as well as the appropriate language packs. It is safe to install later versions of Maul V3.xx over earlier ones.

Please use the 'Help->Check for updates' menu item to check for, and install, the latest fixes (currently 2036fix305.zip).
