Now available from http://smedley.info/os2ports.html

From the readme.os2 file:
This is a first public release of Bind 9.3.2rc1 compiled for OS/2.

It is built with Innotek GCC 3.3.5 GA and requires the libc06 runtime dll which is available from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.0-ga2.zip

This has not been extensively tested, but seems to work locally for me.

Known issues:
* named currently expects its configuration file to be in /bind9/etc - a future release will check the OS/2 ETC directory
* named currently logs some errors to the log - however these errors do not appear to affect functionality and are under investigation
* currently requires a 32-bit tcpip stack (ie tcpip v4.1 or higher). If there is demand for a tcpip v4 compatible version, I'll see if I can build it.

My Bind 8 configuration file required only minor changes to work with Bind 9 - I had to remove 'deallocate-on-exit' option, and remove 'category load { xfer-log; };'
