Paul Smedley has released (9/7/2013) a port of GCC version 4.7.3. This compiler allows many modern projects to be compiled for OS/2. Note that GCC 4.7.x is likely to be the last release of GCC for OS/2, as GCC 4.8.x moved to a C++ implementation for the compiler; all OS/2 patches would need to be completely rewritten. Also available are ports of GCC 4.5.4 and GCC 4.4.6, as well as older GCC versions 4.3.x, 4.0.4, and 3.4.6.
