BlueJ version 3.1.5 has been released (3/29/2015). This is an integrated Java environment specifically designed for teaching object orientation; it requires JDK 1.6 (not just the JRE) or later.
It requires OpenJDK ( Java 6) to run under OS/2-eCS.
