Anton Monroe has released the first version of REXXTool (2024-11-30), a utility for REXX scripts that formats, error checks and analyses your code.

"RexxTool.cmd is a multi-function tool for maintaining Rexx code. It can indent, format, respace and recapitalize words, right-justify comments, insert empty headers/footers for subroutines; check for some common typing errors; list internal, external, and built-in functions used; list all procedures needed by a routine and its subroutines, or extract them into a new file; draw a tree diagram showing where procedures are called; change control characters to hex strings; insert code to count how many times each procedure was called, and other things. RexxMerge.cmd will import or update procedures from one file to another. Written in Rexx, with some suggestions about how you can add your own features to it. For OS/2 "Classic" Rexx. Also works under Regina for OS/2 or Linux, but not as well tested."
