"The aim of the UniAud project is the creation of universal audio driver based on ALSA project. Maintainers do NOT undertake a commitment to add new cards that are lacking support in ALSA project, but are going to refresh UniAud with latest ALSA sources as far as possible. Bugfixes for hardware specific code will correspond to ALSA fixes. Also, some nuances are possible, but in most cases we are going to proceed like this. Authors are planning to create new and unique API to make the usage of all resources and features of modern audio cards possible. API will use neither DART nor other exists OS/2's audio subsystems."
"If you are aware of some new features that you would like to see implemented, or if you just would like to accelerate development you can always make a financial contribution or donation to UniAud on Mensys.
