DFSee version 7.05 has been released today
The DOS version now handles CDROM and Network drivers much better. The UI (TxWindows) has been enhanced with basic MOUSE support, which is available for Windows now, with the other platforms to follow.
A few minor bugs have been solved, some minor features added, and the distribution has been enhanced with a Windows specific archive (MSI) which will work with the standard installer that is available in Windows-2000 and XP systems.
DFSee is the SWISS-ARMY-KNIFE for disk and filesystem problems. With FDISK-like displays, analysis and recovery, FIX commands, UNDELETE for HPFS/NTFS, imaging and cloning. More details at:

Most important functional changes since 7.04:
- DFSDISK Allow spaces in the path and filename arguments
- FileDlg Refresh volume list each time a filedialog is started
- FileDlg Support most CDROM and network drives in the DOS version
- IMAGE + RESTORE, use PARTITION objects in dialog if nothing specified
- IMGRAB Fix the disk-number used in final partition display (cosmetic)
- JFS open No incorrect geometry warnings for PBR (heads is always 255)
- MENU Prevent empty disk/partition submenus when no ADMIN or root
- MOUSE Is supported now for most operations in the Windows version
- VOL Volume command and menu supports most CDROMs now in DOS
- Windows version now installable using a standard Microsoft Installer archive
The Diskette and CDR-ISO imagefiles are updated as well ...
