From: Paul Smedley

Hi All,
This is my third release of FFMpeg 0.49.pre based on a pull from the CVS archive on 23rd April, 2005.

This second release today fixes a screwup on my behalf that prevented the mp3 & ogg stuff linking in ffmpeg.exe

This is compiled with Innotek GCC 3.3.5 beta 4.

It can be downloaded from
http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/incoming/ffmpeg-os2-0.49pre20050423v2.zip

For those that don't know ffmpeg is a tool that can be used to quickly convert video/audio from one format to another.

Please note that with this release, I have compiled in support for mp3 & ogg encoding, and with these changes, this version of ffmpeg is released under the GPL license, not LGPL like the prior release.

This has not been extensively tested - but I have successfully converted some AVIs to Mpeg.
