From: "Mark Dodel"

"If the harddisk-image-file name ends with .VHD, the file will converted to a format useable by DFSee and SVISTA. New file extension will be .HDD.
Additionaly a .TXT file with geometry data will be created. Else the file will converted to Virtual PC format (.VHD)

The program will copy geometry data from special block (VPC) or .SVS/.TXT-file (SVISTA). If that does not work, the program will prompt the user with reasonable default values.

Notice: The program does not copy images, it alters the original files and renames thme thereafter..

known problems:

- currently SVISTA seem to ignore the hard disk geometry. create the images binitially by SVISTA.

- this program only supports raw images,
not sparse/difference/packed("dynamicly extended") etc..

changes

¡ 2004.07.25
recompiled with large file support

¡ 2004.09.09
did not work with large files, since i uses 512 instead of 512.0.."
