Netlabs.org proudly presents the first alpha of the new fork() implementation for Innotek LIBC. The implementation is done by nickk based on a paper from Knut St. Osmundsen (aka bird).
--The paper--

--Binaries--
Compiled alpha release:
ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-fork.zip
NOTE: If you do not know what we talk about you most probably don't need this file. Also if you do know what it is about, don't expect great results yet, it's a first draft and it definitely needs to be improved. Check the readme in the zip file for more information.
--Sourcecode--
You can get the sourcecode from netlabs.org "libc" CVS repository:
CVSROOT:
:pserver:
password is "readonly"
There is also a CVS snapshot of today:
ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/snapshots/libc/libc_20040728.zip
The implementation itself is mainly done in
srcemxsrclibfork
For sure all developers are welcome to improve it, it's open source :-)
Feedback should go to nickk (email can be found in readme of the binary relase).
In case you want to support the project, you are welcome to support us with some money, as usual you find more information about that at:

thanks!
