This week's improvements on my AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) client include:
* Fixed a bug in IM sending that will cause some messages to be garbled or truncated.
* Added a filter feature to the buddy list to filter out users who are away or offline to keep them from cluttering up your buddy list. (When users go online they become visible again.)
* Modified IM window to instantly send a message when you press ENTER.
* Modified IM window so that the icon of the window represents the status of the user you're IM'ing.
* Prevented attempts to send messages to users who go offline while an IM window is opened.

Currently, this program is functional enough to use for AIM text messaging, and can successfully communicate with Java, Win32, and Linux clients. It's not even close to finished yet, though, so keep looking for more features in the coming weeks. Still no documentation yet, but if you have any questions or comments, feel free to write me an e-mail.
