Crew alleged Tuesday that Microsoft had tried to intimidate Apple Computer and RealNetworks because their music and video playing software threatened to Windows. He alleged that in the late 1980s Microsoft deliberately misled independent software developers to believe it was abandoning Windows in favor of the OS2 personal computer operating system, causing competitors to waste time and money writing new programs to work with OS2.
