Here are some border crossing tips.

Item 1 - Registration of Personal Effects
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Coming to Warpstock 2006 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada from the United States.
Bringing along your expensive computer equipment or your camera or other expensive gear.
You should consider using the Customs and Border Protection form -- CBP Form 4457 -- Certificate of Registration for Personal Effects Taken Abroad. This is available online at
http://www.cbp.gov/linkhandler/cgov/toolbox/forms/4457.ctt/cbp_4457.pdf. By listing your items on this form and having it certified by a CBP Officer before leaving the U.S. You can use this as proof that you did not purchase these items in Canada when you return and get caught up in taxes and duties problems.
There are instructions for completing this form on page 2 of the form. This form is simple and easy to use and could save problems at the border.
