As you heard at Warpstock, I will be collecting and generating web page(s) of the WS2005 pictures taken by any of the attendees. A few requests:
1. Original JPEG images, please. I will resize and tweak as needed, but to maximize quality, I don't want images that have already been resized.
If you have images in raw format, please convert them to jpg. Lossless JPG rotation (with PMVIEW PRO or whatever) is OK.
2. If you have several pictures of essentially the same subject, please select the best and don't send the others.
3. Email them to me with a subject line of WS2005PIX. Any cropping instructions, optional captioning info (reference picture filename, please) or other requests please specify - I'll try.
4. I have a fast connection and adequate disk space. However, your ISP may balk at sending humongous attachments; feel free to send as many messages as needed but preferably not one per image file. If you need arrangements to ftp the pictures, contact me and I'll work something out (or if you want me to get them by ftp, let me know the specifics).
5. I'm going to be working on this during the week as time permits, but there's work for paying clients and a dentist visit in the cards also. I'd like to receive all the images by the end of Sunday Oct. 16. I realize that some of you may have film cameras and will be getting photocd's with your pix and won't make that date; that's fine, if you let me know before Sunday along with an estimate of the number of pix.
Don't worry about filenames (I'm sure I'll get some duplicate DSCNxxx filenames from different cameras) but I'll manage that issue.
