02.04.30 - Bad news is that the same problem happened again. Good news is that we now know for sure what disk that produces the timer errors. So tomorrow we will exchange this disk with another one and as well we will do an upgrade of the OS used on the server (Linux Mandrake). Exchanging the disk should only be seen as a temporary solution. We still have to set up a new server with more disk. More information will be posted about this.

02.04.29 - As mentioned earlier there is a problem with either the SCSI-adapter or one of the SCSI-disk. What it looks like is that the main system disk indicates some sort of hardware timing error once a while and it is this that halts the entire system. Until that we have fixed this problem by switching hardware we just have to live with it. It might take a while more since the server used for OS2 World.Com is a Zero budget system that is sponsored by a number of people out of the own private budgets.

We we are currently now looking around to figure out to build a new server.
