Hi,

I've compiled the security release 3.0.8 of firefox. Since Peter has still trouble with his new boxes, it is available at ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming/mozilla/firefox-3.0.8.en-US.os2.zip

No OS/2 specific changes were made since 3.0.7. However, two cross-platform security issues were fixed (see http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.8/releasenotes/ ).  I've had not much time for testing, so please post any issue here in the newsgroup. As usual for firefox-3.x you'll need libc063 to be installed.

Have fun! Walter

[Moderator note: This release requires the C runtime DLLs (libc-0.6.3) from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.3-csd3.zip

os2.README: ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming/mozilla/firefox-3.0.8.en-US.os2.README

As with previous versions report problems/bug reports to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org  For help please go to the mozilla.dev.ports.os2 newsgroup on the news.mozilla.org newsserver . ]
